Top of the mountain in Zakopane, Poland (Europe)

top of the mountain in zakopane My mother and I on top of the Mountain in the south in Zakopane. We took the Gondola up there hoping there would be no snow (because we were hiking down). I was in running shoes and a sweater. The snow was 3 feet deep. It was a long 4 hour hike down, but a story I will never ever forget. I was soaked by the time we got 1/2 way down (at least by then the snow) was minimal (about 1000m left to climb down).  Read More
